PAWS hosts several annual fundraisers to benefit our animal welfare work, including:
PAWS Under The Stars
This fundraising dinner gala (formerly known as PAWS In The Sand) is our largest annual event. Featuring live entertainment, silent and live auctions, and a delicious dinner under the stars, this event is not to be missed!
PAWS On Wheels
This annual bicycle ride around the East End loop draws dozens of dedicated cyclists each year! This is not a timed race and cyclists of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. We offer a 10 mile course for younger or less experienced riders and a 21 mile course for the more experienced riders. This is a great family event and costumes are encouraged! Raffle prizes and prizes for the best costume are awarded.
Free Community Dog Washes
PAWS aims to host one to two free, community dog washes in the districts of East End, Bodden Town and North Side each year to engage with members of the community and spread awareness of our animal welfare work. We are always willing to accept donations of products (such as shampoo, leashes, collars, etc.) and extra volunteers are always welcome. The details of these free community events are publicised on our Facebook and Instagram accounts.
